Payment Card template

What this template is

The Payment Card template stores credit and debit card metadata in structured fields: cardholder name, masked card number (last four visible in list), expiry month/year, and CVV hidden until reveal. The detail view uses payment card display chrome for readable layout; share flows never expose full PAN or CVV.

When to use it (and when not to)

Good fits

• Online checkout when you need to copy the full card number once
• Keeping issuer and cardholder name for support calls (without exposing full PAN on screen)
• Separate items per card to limit blast radius if you export or share a subset

Everyday workflows

Online purchase

1. Enable the Payment Card pack—see Enable category template packs.
2. Open the card item, reveal card number if masked, and Copy.
3. Paste into the merchant form within 30 seconds—clipboard auto-clears after that.
4. Reveal CVV only when the form asks; do not leave it visible on a shared screen.

Wallet cleanup

1. Create one item per physical or virtual card.
2. Archive cards you no longer use; Delete only after confirming the issuer cancelled the account.

Steps

Enable the pack

1. Unlock your vault and open Settings → General → Category templates (https://se.nt2.me/settings/general/templates).
2. Toggle Payment Card On.

Create a card item

1. Open https://se.nt2.me/assets and select Add asset → Payment card.
2. Enter a title and fill cardholder name, card number, expiry, and issuer.
3. Save. Invalid card numbers may show a Luhn warning—confirm before saving if the number is correct.

Copy card details

1. Open the item; list rows show •••• last4 when unlocked.
2. Copy card number or reveal CVV only when needed.
3. Paste within 30 seconds—clipboard auto-clears after that.

In-person lookup

1. Use Safe presentation mode to show cardholder and last four—never full PAN or CVV in presentation unless product masks allow.

Tips and common mistakes

• Enable pack first—Payment Card is not a core builtin.
• Do not store PAN in Secure Note—you lose masking, Luhn warn, and card chrome.
• Share never includes full PAN or CVV—hard-blocked in all share modes.
• Product boundary—NT² does not autofill checkout or provision Apple Pay / NFC.
